    Today's show gave a brief tribute to lead guitarist Eddie van Halen who passed away on October 6th, 2020 from complications of throat and lung cancer. I opened up with some classic Van Halen songs including a couple of my personal favorites. 

    From there we moved onto the usual series of requests, this time diving into the world of protest songs with "Eve of Destruction" (Barry McGuire) as well as a little bit of R&B/Soul with "Midnight Train to Georgia" by Gladys Knight & the Pips. Other songs included "You Can All Join In" (Traffic), "When the Rivers Are Hot" (Fat Chants), and "I'm Goin' Down" (Bruce Springsteen).
